My Story
I may have been practising for over 10 years but my journey into massage started much sooner than that, rewind to 2008. I was working for a High Street bank as a Business Manager doing the usual daily grind and although I enjoyed my work something was missing. I had a spa day one weekend which included a sublime massage treatment and that was it - I was hooked. I wanted to create my own space where people could come and forget about the world for a short while. Whilst still managing my job I enrolled onto a Swedish Massage course to get the ball rolling. I qualified in 2009, I think in hindsight it's fair to say I was addicted to learning..
I followed on with Level 3 Sports Therapy Massage in 2010 which formed the bulk of my initial training. From there my interests widened and I studied Hypnotherapy (2011) and HypnoBirthing with Katharine Graves HypnoBirthing (2013) qualifying in both with a Diploma. I thoroughly enjoyed the training and although at the time they didn’t form part of my treatment repertoire they gave me a huge and valuable insight into the human mind and how powerful it can be, using the information learnt to help people achieve their mental and physical goals through Massage Therapy. After a break from training and whilst building my business around Sussex and Brighton I qualified at the Jing School of Massage in Pregnancy Massage. Finally and by pure chance I found myself working alongside a very talented massage therapist who specialised in Hydrotherm Massage. I was hooked from the moment I tried this treatment, so calming and relaxing but so deeply effective without feeling some of the firmer qualities of deep tissue massage. I subsequently qualified in all Hydrotherm disciplines, Foundation Level, Advanced Anatomy and Physiology, Hydrotherm Pregnancy Massage, Tranquil Sea Specialist Cancer Massage as well as finally taking level 1 in Hydrotherm Teacher training. I have loved every stage of my training and development, each course has brought depth and understanding to my work, bringing fresh ideas and concepts of how to treat people and how best to help them.
What’s next for me…
I'm currently working on developing a HypnoBirthing course as well as promoting Pregnancy Massage for pre and post-natal health.
Beyond that I have longer term plans of qualifying as a Medical Herbalist and Aromatherapist.

My Approach
I approach all treatments with an open mind so that each time someone enters my treatment space I am intent on ensuring their needs are met. Have you had a spa treatment, discussed a particular area of concern and found it has either been ignored or at times left you more uncomfortable and tense than when you started?
I take great pride in assessing the type of treatment and focus points required to give my customers their own unique experience. At every treatment I will consider how you are on the day, and we will work together to discover what you need from your treatment mentally and physically to guarantee optimal results.
This may be news to some of you but it's not necessarily a case of no pain no gain. You can have a balance between the treatment you really want and the treatment you need.
Based on all of my skills I have created a range of bespoke treatments to suit all ages and stages of life. From the young and anxious, the desk workers, the worn out parent crew, the fit and healthy, the ageing generation, cancer survivors, post op recovery, stressed and depressed and the gorgeous mums-to-be.
All you need to do is pick a treatment and leave the rest to me..
